The new Digimax 430 is a compact and stylish digital camera, with dimensions of just 10.6 x 5.5 x 3.2cm. Housed inside this compact silver body is an impressive host of features to give you the results you want. The combination of a digital and optical zoom gets you eleven times closer to your subject. Images are captured on the camera’s 4 million pixel CCD to give you clear and detailed results. Preview them in the form of thumbnails, slide-show or even movie clips with sound, on the camera’s TFT LCD monitor, or play them back on a TV via the NTSC/PAL connection. On board editing is carried out with the touch of a button. The Digimax has many auto and manual exposure and white balance modes to capture your images in their best light. You also have the choice of many extra useful shooting modes to choose from, created for specific photographic circumstances such a “fireworks”, “backlight”, “beach and snow”, “children” and “landscapes” to name a few! Because the Digimax 430 has a multi-card storage slot, you can store your images on SD / MMC or Memory Stick Duo cards. Download is quick and easy onto a PC and the useful bundled software can be used to enhance your pictures even further. However, you don’t need to own a computer to see the end results because the Digimax 430 is PICTBRIDGE compatible, meaning you simply connect the camera to a Pictbridge compatible printer and print off your chosen pictures.
