The DCR-IP7E is the first model in the new generation of high-quality, user-friendly digital camcorders.The Network Handycam IP comes complete with Bluetooth wireless technology. This means that users enjoy wireless connection and data transfer with the DCR-IP7E - they can browse the Web, send e-mail, or access picture and text-messaging facilities, while on the go with a compatible Bluetooth enabled mobile phone. Internet applications, like the Internet browser, e-mail user interface, can be viewed on the LCD screen. The built-in alphanumeric character input screen allows users to enter Internet addresses and text messages easily from the unit. The Network Handycam IP may be linked to a Sony Bluetooth 56K modem adaptor, BTA-NW1 or to a compatible Bluetooth enabled mobile phone.
